Reader, Lately, I’ve been hearing it in my practice: “I don’t feel efficient in session.” “I didn’t offer my client a solution.” “I'm not at the top of my game, always fixing, always moving forward.” And maybe you’ve felt it too—that pull to problem-solve, to fix, to speed things up, to learn the new technique that promises to give you better results with clients when the world around us is crumbling. But here’s the truth: “Therapy express” doesn’t work (it never did btw...) Especially not now. Not when the world is heavier. Not when our clients are carrying more. Not when we ourselves are grieving, raging, and holding so much. Decolonial therapy invites us to do the opposite.
And no— Reflection for you: 🧠 Remember: 🔥 Share your reflections with me, I want to know what's happening in your world! Here’s to more spaciousness and embodied presence ☀️ In community, Silvana @ Decolonize Your Practice PS. You can read previous Liberatory Letters here. ⬆️ Let's connect! |

This isn't a personal shortcoming either... ✅ This is a reflection of living and working within a system that asks us to care endlessly -while most of...
